This is another pace setting stride by LIMCAF obviously made possible by the increased support the Festival is receiving from MTN, Enugu State Government and First Bank of Nigeria among others in recognition of the unprecedented impact the Festival is making in empowering the youth of the country and advancing careers in art and promoting art appreciation among the people.
In a letter of invitation signed by LIMCAF’s Art Director, Dr. Ayo Adewunmi, and sent to each of the successful contestants reads in part:
“Congratulations! Your art work has been selected by the Grand Jury of 2019 Life In My City Art Festival as part of Top 100 Best New Works from young Nigerian artists.
In this respect the Organising Committee of LIMCAF hereby invites you to the 2019, 13th edition of our national visual art competition holding in Enugu from Monday 11th– Saturday 16th November 2019 at the International Conference Centre, Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu.”
The letter goes on to instruct each artist to report at the LIMCAF Secretariat, on Friday the 15th of November 2019 for documentation and other necessary action including the refund of transport fare and accommodation. Once again congratulation!
