History of Homoepathy
Homoeopathy was discovered by a famous German Physician Dr. Samuel Fredrick Hahnemann who lived from 1755 to 1843. He was disgruntled by the frequent relapses of his patients and this led him into research. While translating the materia medica of one Dr. Cullen, on the efficacy of CINCHONA on Malaria, he disagreed with the doctor’s explanation and it occurred to him to try the low potencies of the same substance on healthy persons.

Affiliates
The Nigerian Institute of Homoeopathy had been associated with the United Nations and its relevant agencies since the inception of the Institute but the Institute was officially admitted as a member in 2005. The Institute holds a special consultative status with the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA.
